Programmes of the Investing for Growth and Employment objective
This program will significantly contribute to the support of key European and national development priorities and to renewal of rail infrastructure and rolling stock, public transport services, waterways, road infrastructure, the information society and technical assistance. The program will focus on key priorities, e.g. support of sustainable transport, removing capacity constraints in key network infrastructure and improving the availability, use and quality of information and communication technologies.

Operational Programme Research and Innovation is a joint programme document of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic and the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic to provide funding from the ESIF in the 2014 - 2020 period aimed at creating a stable environment for innovation for all stakeholders and at helping to increase the efficiency of research, development and innovation as a fundamental pillar for increasing competitiveness, sustainable economic growth and employment rate.
Operational Programme Research and Innovation builds on the Operational Programme Research and Development and the Operational Programme Competitiveness and Economic Growth in Slovakia in the 2007 - 2013 period.
Allocation of EU funds: 2 266 776 537 EUR.
This Operational Programme is a joint programme document of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family, Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic and the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic to provide funding from the ESIF in the 2014 - 2020 period aimed at promoting education, employment, social inclusion and vulnerable groups in the labor market.
Allocation of EU funds: 2 204 983 517 EUR.
Operational Programme KŽP aims to support achieving the objectives of the Europe 2020 strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth in all regions of Slovakia. The main objective is to support sustainable and efficient use of natural resources, environmental protection, active adaptation to climate change and to promote energy efficiency and low-carbon economy. The program will focus on four main priorities, namely: sustainable use of natural resources through development of environmental infrastructure; adaptation to adverse impacts of climate change with a focus on flood protection, promotion of risk management, emergency management and resilience to incidents in connection with climate change; and energy efficiency low-carbon economy in all sectors.
Allocation of EU funds: 3 137 900 110 EUR.
The main objective of this Operational Programme is to promote quality of life and ensure sustainable provision of public services across the country. This will be beneficial for balanced and sustainable regional development as well as economic, territorial and social cohesion of Slovak regions, cities and municipalities. The main priorities of the program include safe and clean transport in the regions, easier access to efficient and quality public services, mobilization of creative potential in the regions, improving the quality of life in regions with an emphasis on the environment and local community-led development.
Allocation of EU funds: 1 754 490 415 EUR.
OP EVS is a programme document with national scope, which will provide assistance from the European Social Fund in the 2014 - 2020 programming period in order to create conditions for providing high-quality and accessible public services in an efficient manner at every stage of life or entrepreneurship to their respective beneficiaries. The EVS programme strategy is designed to support the fulfillment of the Europe 2020 priorities and contribute to the objectives of the National Reform Programme of the Slovak Republic ("NPR SR"), as well as the requirements stemming from EU legislation in the relevant areas while at the same time reflecting the needs and challenges of the national, regional and local level, aiming to satisfy the preconditions for sustainable and inclusive growth through a comprehensive reform of public administration of the Slovak Republic.
Allocation of EU funds: 278 449 284 EUR.
Based on experience from the 2007 - 2013 programming period, a separate operational programme will reinforce especially the systemic approach to ESIF will create a highly professional and effective support for the management and implementation of ESIF by supplementing it with an effective system of their regulation, by improving the quality of administrative capacity involved in their management, control and auditing, as well as protection of financial interests of the EU. Operational Programme Technical Assistance will contribute to the objectives of the Europe 2020 strategy and the National Reform Programme of the Slovak Republic. It will particularly contribute to effective, efficient and transparent disbursement of ESIF in all operational programs.
Allocation of EU funds: 159 071 912 EUR.
Rural Development Programme was approved by the Slovak government on May 14, 2014. It's a joint programme document of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic for the provision of support from the ESIF in the 2014-2020 programming period aimed at boosting growth, maintenance and creation of jobs in rural areas in accordance with environmental protection to achieve the objectives of rural development: support of agricultural competitiveness, ensuring sustainable management of natural resources and to achieving a balanced territorial development of rural communities.
Allocation of EU funds: 1 545 272 844 EUR.
Operational Programme Fishery is a joint programme document of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic for the provision of support from the ESIF in the 2014 - 2020 programming period focused on sustainability and competitiveness of the fishery sector. The main objectives are to increase the competitiveness and viability of aquaculture companies, including improving safety and working conditions, especially in SMEs; the protection and restoration of aquatic biodiversity; to improve ecosystems related to aquaculture and to promote resource-efficient aquaculture; to provide collection of relevant high-quality data and analyses of the EU Common Fisheries Policy for the aquaculture sector and the manufacturing sector in accordance with the multiannual programme in accordance with the draft Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on the CFP; implementation of measures to encourage the entry to market of fishery products and their processing.
Allocation of EU funds: 15 785 000 EUR.
